The Annual Blessing of the Animals is Sunday, October 2nd at St. Francis, Youngsville at 4 PM. This is outdoor service, weather permitting (or in the parish hall) is being followed by a light dinner and dessert which is our third outreach community dinner sponsored by the St. Francis Pet Pantry Ministry. The dinner will be hot dogs, masterfully cooked by Doc Myers and macaroni salad.

The St. Francis Pet Pantry Ministry is an emergency food pantry serving families who at times, struggle to feed their four legged friends. It is supportednot only by individuals but businesses in the greater community. You may make a donation of food or monetary donations to honor a family member for a special event, in honor or in memory of your own pet. The pantry continues to be self  sustaining due to the generosity of so many.

Emergency Pet Pantry & Quarterly Community Dinners
We reach out to our local community through quarterly dinners.  Guests enjoy opportunities to socialize with their friends, home-cooked meals, and service with a smile.  As an outreach to our community, we do not charge for meals.  However, a free will offering of prayers or pet food is welcome.
